enough to fall over

I would have to say that the winds today in rexburg are atrocious. I started off my day with a 4 mile run followed by 4 sets of stadium stairs. Lets start with the run: 1/2 the time I was running against 35 mph winds, HA. ya. it was way hard, and sometimes it would blow me sideways. I probably looked retarded. Then when I went to the stadium, one of the times on my way down the stairs, a gust blew so strongly that it launched me down 4 steps and I had to grab onto the rail so that I would not face plant. This wind my friends, is a little intense.

Also, I saw this on pinterest and kind of laughed to myself. I first saw it and was like, ya thats right!! and then I saw the bottom and was like whatttt?? they put a stupid except in there! I'm sorry but there IS no excuse for bad weather, see that man? he is running in the cold. This is exactly what it looked like in rexburg, on my 9 mile run on monday, 18 degrees and all. In fact I'm pretty sure this picture was taken on my route, because that looks like exactly where I was running. (I half ice skated my run you see, almost face planted too). So erase the bottom part and just read the top. No excuses people!

Day 33

Why tonight was awesome:
1. Cards
2. Laughter
3. Long talks
4. Sweet kisses
5. "Tickling" each others face and back, its the most relaxing thing in the world
6. Heart flutters
7. Not being able to sleep even 2 1/2 hours after you got home because your mind is working so hard on trying to figure out how you got so lucky.

this might just be the girliest post i've ever done. I am sorry, I will spare you my obnoxiously annoying stories about my love life in the future, and keep them to myself. I just had to post this because I'm giddy, okayyyy

for the first time

I went to Wyoming yesterday! I can now add another state to my travels. It was a group date thing with trevor and his roommates. We went to Jackson for a hockey game! It also happened to be my first hockey game, so waddabing waddaboo, two firsts in one evening. Once we got to the Jackson hole pass, it pretty much snowed the rest of the trip. All the snow from the morning in Rexburg had melted by the time we left. But rexburg got the same snow everywhere else did that evening. We came back to like 4 inches!! Its the most snow we've gotten all winter. It was pretty exciting.

yes we were totally twins. on accident. haha oh purple

with good ol' knuckles at the end!
Twas a very fun trip. Cannot wait until tomorrow, we're going to the hot springs that are in the middle of the mountains! Thats right. Its gunna be awesome. What a solid 3 day weekend.

summer winter

I really do just want it to be summer. I'm getting a little bit cabin feverish with all this movie watching and card playing. Its still a blast <3 but I love the outdoors!! I'm ready for hiking, bridge jumping, bonfires, windows down, running in the sun, cliff jumping, and sand duneing.

We've had a very mild winter here in Rexburg, so I guess we have been fairly lucky :) but the past 2 weeks have been just a little chilly with nothing special. Just cloudy skies. And summer is still distant. So when I came down to make lunch this afternoon to snow falling I couldn't help but be a little overjoyed :) Especially when its falling like a dream.

So sure, I want summer, but I don't mind snow falling perfectly while I wait.

Some Days

Are just meant to spend in your pajamas all day, doing homework, and listening to music. And yes this is my bed hair, and yes its 1 pm and I still haven't touched it. Be jealous of its beautifulness. I slept through practice, what a surprise. Woke up at 8, did New Testament homework, found new music, and thats about it.  I'm about to head out running but Savannah wants to tag along and she has definitely been sleeping for the past 3 hours...

Oh I got flowers yesterday :) yay for your boys roommate who's in a floral design class. I get to be the lucky receptor of these beautiful arrangements.

Going to Montana again this weekend. Quite excited, though it will be a different mood than last time. His brother got in a really bad skiing accident and broke his neck. Might be a quadriplegic, BUT he's doing so much better than they originally thought. Keep him in your prayers please <3 his name is Wes, and he's such a great guy and has so many people praying for him. I'm surprised trevor even invited me up with him, I thought I would be intruding but he insisted I wouldn't be. I just want it to be tomorrow already.

Heres a blog his family has created with updates on him, even if you don't know him I encourage you to check it out. Its interesting, heart wrenching and inspiring all in one. Go here for the blog.

Well my roommate still isn't up, so I'm going to go jump on her, I gots to get my run on.

of track but busy?

remember how I was off track and so I was going to have so much time to blog? Like blog about my outfits, and fitness etc. haha well I might not have a job...but I'm pretty dang busy somehow. Reason A. I'm a head trainer for the Biggest Winner program at school (like the biggest loser). B. I'm also a Nutrition consultant for the biggest winner. C. I'm taking 7 credits so Its not like I'm totally bumming it. D. I'm also volunteering at the Physical therapy place. and lastly E, I've been spending a crap ton of time at my friend Trevors place :) Lets just say I've hung out with him everyday for the past 2 weeks. I'm a happy girl.

A. Being a trainer for the Biggest Winner might just be one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. We just had our first week and all the days were great, growing closer to my girls and stuff (I have a team of 7 girls, and 3 assistant trainers). But Saturday was incredible. We've been doing cardio and weights but saturday we switched it up and I took them to the Hart Gym where we ran sets of stairs and did push-ups, sit-ups, planks, and squats etc in between. I can't tell you how incredible these girls are! Tears were shed, prayers were said for strength, and I learned a lot. It was amazing :)

B. Being a Nutrition consultant is also way fun because I'm the only one thats volunteering as both a trainer and a nutritionist so I have like 3 of my girls that I get to help with their diet and working out! Instead of 2 separate people. I love it.

C. I absolutely love my religion classes. SO GOOD. And American Epidemic is also very exciting to learn about, because that has a lot with what I want to go into.

D. Trevor Greene: Sweetest, nicest guy I've met in a long time and he makes me happy.

also, I played a show on saturday, what a BLAST.
