the Burg

I'm here, I'm here I'm here! The drive up wasn't bad at all, actually it went pretty fast! We thought my truck, because it is quite old,  would have to go like 65 the whole way, HA, my truck was like, suck it, I'm going 80 for 12 hours strait. Ya, it was beautiful, AND I found out, thanks to my marvelous brother J, that it has cruise control! Best discovery for the drive yesterday. Before we left, we had a lot of work done on the truck so it would be in supreme condition for the trip and for me at school. We had the breaks fixed, pads replaced, disks smoothed out, belts replaced, an oil change, and by the time they were done with it they said it was basically brand new. So you can imagine our disappointment when 1 hour into the drive (David and I were in the Jeep behind J int the truck) the truck suddenly slowed down and died. AHH. freak out for a moment, prayers said, and then dad called! My truck has two gas tanks and it was filled up the night before, so obviously we wouldn't run out of gas an hour into the drive. Well the back gas tank we noticed when we started the drive was like half full, and we're like, I thought mom filled it up? But the back gas tank is tricky and confusing and sometimes stops filling up and acts like its "full" even when its not and the gas gage for that one isn't the most splendid. So what do you know, the first thing my dad says, after we're all like looking under the hood, cause we all know so much about cars, is switch the gas tank to the front one. Psh ya, we were just out of gas, it was a little freak out moment that was actually kind of funny, and after that everything went super smoothly.

Ha and then theres the 2 hour stretch in Idaho and Rexburg before you get on 33 to head to Rexburg that has NO GAS STOPS. At least thats what it felt like. So we filled up in Missoula and then were on our way! Once we burned through one gas tank and were on 3/4 of a tank (the truck guzzles) I told J the next gas station we would stop......45 minutes later.....1/8 of a tank and I was freaking out. WE'RE GUNNA RUN OUT OF GAS was a line that was yelled frequently from myself. Every exit, had nothing, I don't even know what the exits would be used for, there would be this road that looked depressing and tried to look for something around. nope nothing, and then there would be this sign that said next exit 10 mils, what? THIS ONE BETTER HAVE GAS. ha nope. it was like 10 miles after that and I was so thankful when I saw the sign for a gas station! We were exiting right when the line was reaching empty woo, we made it!

The new fitness center here? SUPERB. just though I'd let you know.

Reminiscing

While I've been home, I've been listening to tons of music, looking at tons of pictures and reading old journals and remembering great great times. Sometimes I'll be driving home from work, the music is blasting and the sun is shining and I think of fun memories and my heart almost explodes! I get this surging through my body, I feel unstoppable, maybe I'm totally weird. I like to look back at awesome times I've had not to be sad they're not happening right now, but to get excited for more to come! cheesy, but true

Keith Urban concert. One of the best nights ever with the most amazing performer, with the most amazing woman ever, my best friend jannettix

EFY, with my cousins, was amazing, its the most genius program for youth these days, its so fun and builds testimonies of the Gospel! A summer camp doesnt get much better than that!

Trek, the funnest youth conference I ever had! Just had a blast the entire time

Summer, every summer, cannot wait till this next one, but summer, can I say it any more? yes, Summer

 McCall, Idaho. Family, Beach, Cabin.

Sahale Arm hike, cannot wait for when we do it again!

Camping and just hanging out with the crew. I couldn't find a picture with alll of us (umm why not guys? not cool, seriously, someone is always taking the picture, this needs to change) so you get this

My long hair, I know you had to go, because you were hurt and damaged, but I MISS YOU, grow fast please. My friend suggested prenatal vitamins, do you think my roommates at school would be concerned if I showed up with a bottle of them? haha

Love, the girl who goes back to school in 4 days and is procrastinating packing at this very moment...

I got a few things from Urban, Forever, Abercrombie, and BP. Happy Birthday Bud

So this past thursday was Gil, my horses birthday, he is no longer here, but in a much better place (died 4 years ago the day before Thanksgiving) It was very sudden, I found out that he had colic and not 3 hours later I was making the decision to have to put him down. It was HORRIBLE. And I miss him, he is THE best horse ever, and I cannot wait to see him again. He would have turned 20, but he will stay 16 forever :)
Is he not the most handsome thing you've every seen?
(look at them muscles :))
This pic is awesome, its a shame my face is less than ideal!
He was so easy goin!
He let us do anything on him,
well I guess he was my first kiss.... me and my friend always said our
 horses were our boyfriends haha
GAH. i miss him.

lucky boy with all the green grass :)

SO BUFF

my favorite picture of us two
Well bud, Happy Birthday to you, I miss making you your grain cakes, and riding you all the time, and eating your grain...and me going somewhere in the field and you following me everywhere, I miss that loud whinny you gave me when I showed up when you were sick, it was more of a scream that said "Help me" and it made me cry, I miss coming home from school and just hopping on your back (thank-you for being short enough that I could), I miss teaching you new things, like how to bow, and with one touch of the lunge rope and you'd start backing up, ha that one took a while to teach, but you got so good at it, i just miss you, and cannot wait to see you again, then we can talk about all the things we did to each other when we lost our tempers, hopefully it doesn't get too personal :) I love you so much bud, you are the perfect horse and I was so lucky to have you. Love, mama

Hey, whats going on?

^^ That my friends is what I say to every single customer, and I mean every customer when they walk in the door. Its the "tag line" and needs to be said to everyone. When I first started working at Abercrombie I was always in Women's 1 (front room, greets the people/keeps it nice looking) but thank goodness I'm only up there for like an average of an hour per shift now, *knock on wood* before I would be there for like 3 hours at a time! And you can't leave the room so it mine as well be called Jail.

I learned how to do the register a while ago, its my new favorite thing! I absolutely love it, and now that I know how to do that is probably why I'm not in Women's 1 as much anymore, because I can do the cash rap now!

Dude. Wanna know how long I worked yesterday? A total of 15.5 hours. 7.25 at the doctors and 8.25 at Abercrombie, we got shopped so hard the last 3 hours before closing that the whole store was destroyed. We're supposed to close at 9, and be out of there by 11, but no my friends, no, we were there till 1:15 am. Today was much much better, only a 12 hour work day, I had to go home from the office early so I could take a nap before heading to Abercrombie because I was literally walking into walls I was so tired. So, because I worked my batoshnie (my word for bum, pronounced bu-tosh-knee) off I decided I could get myself something, I mean, I did work almost 30 hours in 2 days, which means TREAT FOR JULIA. And Abercrombie is having this nice sale where everything in the store is 30% off and then the shirt I bought was already on sale for 30% off so I got quite the deal.

I wish I could post about more exciting stuff, I'm sorry, but all I do is work.
So 13 more days people, and thennn my life and social life will improve immensely.

oh, and this guy, gets to come with me to school! So excited right now! :)
My truck is one thing I really missed when I went to school. It will fit in great in Rexburg.
